Various works were started for the people of Cameroon.

Courageous and selfless, Fraternite Notre Dame's religious priests and nuns have taken orphans in, they perform first emergency aid in often very isolated places, along with vaccinations, assistance to the handicapped, visits to prisoners and reinsertion into society, construction of wells in villages completely deprived of potable water, covering expenses and assuring follow ups of persons deeply affected by illness in hospitals, assistance to the dying.

The help of the Sacraments of the Church were also offered free of charge to those who requested it, along with religious education, catechism for both the children and adults (training of catechists and teachers), not to forget also the celebration of Holy Masses, in most remote or abandoned places.
Again, a material and sanitary assistance was provided.

The religious often pay the toll of the climate with their health, to remain there, helping the poorest of the poor, with no particular interest of any kind.
