This was a wonderful day: when we were able to speak and share on our various activities in
Mrs. Marie Carmen Flambert, a Clinician and psychologist in Port au Prince, told us about her moving experiences there, related with children abandoned by their very families. Sister Marie Valerie, who represented Fraternite Notre Dame at the meeting, was able to explain to everyone about our permanent Mission in Haiti, and our work with the youth and abandoned children, whom we welcome in our Haiti orphanage; a task which is difficult, but very interesting: nursing and educating over 50 little orphans, who oftentimes had been abandoned at the gates of the Mission… |
