Jonas Blizzard on US Capital

A March for Life in Washington DC, Cut Short by Snow.

Upon the request of His Excellency Bishop Jean Marie, seven Nuns went to the Capital, Washington DC to participate in the March for Life, which is organized in January of every year, against abortion. This year, a huge blizzard forces the Sisters, along with the other participants, to leave by early afternoon, because the heavy snowfalls were going to very quickly turn streets and roads completely unusable.

Our Nuns were able to fulfill this duty which is dear to our hearts, before leaving the place last, which made them the target of some media personnel present at the march. Defending Life is part of our fundamental values as Christians, conscious that the gift of Life is bestowed on us by God and must be cherished as the most valuable of treasures, despite opposite trends which batter our society.
