I am the Way, the Truth and the Life

Our Lord in his Holy Gospel

Our Spirituality is deeply Marian. The Order takes the Most Blessed Virgin Mary as its model so as to imitate her life of prayer, penance, poverty, chastity, obedience and faith, thus willing to obey the Commandment of Christ when He died on the Cross: taking, as Saint John did, Mary as our Mother. We maintain the celebration of the Mass in the Tridentine rite, and we also emphasize on Adoration, to testify to our faith in the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist, while also maintaining the Rites of the Sacraments in their pre-Vatican II form, in the same way certain Eastern Churches maintain their proper, centuries-old rites.

The life of Fraternite Notre Dame's members is deeply Evangelical, especially taking in their life the passage from Holy Scriptures dealing with the Beatitudes, so they may be to everyone's eyes a leaven of peace and unity, in a world where love has turned tepid.

« I need souls to make reparation... Innocent souls who make reparation for the guilty. »

Our Lord to Most Reverend Bishop Jean Marie, Sept. 6th, 1974

The Holy Eucharist

Holy Eucharist

The Most Blessed Eucharist is the Real Presence of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Host, with his Body, his Soul and his Divinity.
Now, it is thanks to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, through the Priest, that Our Lord gives himself to us. Participation in the Eucharistic Sacrifice is a true meeting with the Risen Christ.

Sacred Heart of Jesus

"Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for yourselves. For my yoke is easy, and my burden light".
(St Matt. Ch XI, V 28-30)

The Divine Mercy

Devotion to Divine Mercy can be expressed notably through the veneration of the picture of the Merciful Christ, showing his open side, whence spring out two rays of light, a symbol for the Blood that increases the life in souls, and the Water which purifies the souls.

The Holy Face

"I am looking for some "Veronicas" to wipe and honor my Divine Face, which has few adorers". He had me understand again that those who would apply themselves to this work of Reparation would perform in this the work of pious Veronica.
"Through My Holy Face, you shall work prodigies".

Holy Wounds

Devotion to the Holy Wounds is grounded upon the most solid foundations: the infinite merits of the Savior. "My daughter, do you recognize the treasure of the world?"
"When you offer my Divine Wounds to my Father, you earn an immense fortune."

Our Lady

Therefore we, Servants of Our Lady, want to take Mary into our home in order to accomplish the last whish of Christ who invites us to take his own Mother into our home, after the example of Saint John. That is why we open wide the doors of our lives to her, and we want to give her the place she deserves all through our days.

Saint Joseph

When we speak of Saint Joseph, most of the time we imagine him with the Child Jesus on his arms or working with him in his humble workshop of Nazareth. It is true that Saint Joseph lived in the intimacy of Jesus and Mary. He shared in the intimate secrets of the life in Nazareth.

Holy Angels

Holy Scripture tells us on several occasions about the Angels of God. God gave us the Angels as protectors, defenders and messengers. Let us not neglect their company. Angels are always penetrated with the light of God's Love.

Souls in Purgatory

We do not consider Purgatory as being a place and state of horrid tortures, but as a place and state of purification, where one really suffers from being still separated from God and the blessed, and as a place and state of expectation in Love.
