What you see is not a painting. It is a "photo" from the "negative" of those mysterious markings that appeared on the Shroud of Our Lord which is preserved in Torino, Italy. It suggests the shadow of a face... no one has retouched these Sacred stains imprinted on the shroud. Nothing can improve the picture. One can truly name this gift of Christ: "the self-Portrait" of Our Lord, painted by Himself.
