Becoming Volunteer with Fraternite Notre Dame

Volunteerism is very important in the bosom of Fraternite Notre Dame, because it allows any person to better understand the extreme poverty and suffering of the poorest of the poor, and gives him/her an opportunity to help a greater number of poor people.

Volunteerism is possible for all, both very young people and adults. In every one of our Missions, we need volunteers in all trades (medical doctors, surgeons, nurses, construction specialists, electricians, teachers, gardeners, cooks, printers, etc.) even completely unqualified people, if willing to be useful to the poorest of the poor, can come and help for a week, a month, 3 months, a year or more.

You may work along with Fraternite Notre Dame's members, even when you do not know the language of the country you work in, this is not a problem, because we do need your experience, your time, your generosity.

Special volunteer programs are available for young people in most of our missions, to give the youth a sense of others, for too many are the young people who have grown insensitive due to too much violence and horror conveyed by the media.

The realities of life show enough miseries, our youth should not become egoistic and insensitive.
